This song is really a follow-up to an earlier song I wrote, Don't Cry For Me. From the perspective of someone who has lost a close loved one, this song looks longingly ahead to the time when a reunion will occur. In addition to being in the presence of our Lord, reuniting with our loved ones is what will truly make it heaven.

Several years ago my wife and I experienced a heartbreak when our only daughter was lost due to a very premature birth. Years later I was able to write this song about how God can take the broken pieces of our heart and put it back together again.

I wrote this song after listening to the testimonies of women who had abortions earlier in their lives and hearing them talk about the prolonged impact those decisions had on their lives. There is coming a day when God reunites them with their child, and they will cry their last tear.

We all have to say goodbye to loved ones from time to time. Death puts a divide between us. But one day we will not have to say goodbye anymore!

This song was truly inspired and written for a friend who had lost his wife of 50 years. God used this song to minister to his life and help restore his broken heart. This song is simply a prayer asking God to walk with my friend through his valley of darkness.

We often delude ourselves with a false sense of security. But when life begins to fall around us, we realize the only place of peace and safety is in the strong and tender hands of God.

How do you hear God? In a thundering voice, or a quiet one? The experience of Elijah, searching for God in the mountains, is similar to the experience of many of us…only when we are still and quiet do we hear His voice. This is a powerful song with a simple truth.

How easy it is to say we believe in God, but do we live as if we really believe? This simple hymn-like song is a gentle reminder to live out what we believe on the inside.

We plan our lives ahead so much, it is easy to lose track of one day. But one day in the presence of God is enough to bless us for a lifetime.

A few years ago I attended the funeral of a relative. A couple of weeks later, driving alone in my car, I envisioned what a loved one might say to me if they could open the window of heaven and speak to me. This simple song expresses what I heard that day, and it has touched the hearts of everyone who has heard it.
